921 Foam Blanket 13mm 2340mm x 1650m by SeaLion

Special fine textured grey foam for use in heated flat bed and vacuum presses

13mm foam is type S6 and is best for canvas bonding and heat-seal over-laminating.

5mm foam is type S5 and best for heated vacuum presses like Hot Press HGP. There its lower volume will not slow the draw cycle.

Many boards for mounting are made up of pulp, which usually has tiny hills and valleys. The pressure of a hard platen may shine the peaks. Foam helps even out the pressure and minimise this effect. Foam also presses over-laminating film into the weave of canvas to enhance canvas texture.

This foam is easily cut to size to suit most presses.
