5590 Beginners Gilding Kit

This 'oil' gilding kit includes everything needed to try your hand.

It has 10 imitation gold leaves and 10 imitation silver leaves. It also has 2gm each of tamisè (leaf flakes) in gold, variegated and silver. Red acrylic base coat, missione (water-based gilding glue), bitumen and shellac for finishing, and full instructions.

You supply fine sandpaper, brushes, etc. Ideal for those wanting to try this craft.
