The Simplex Elite Mat is a complete artist’s studio tool for sizing mat board, foam board, cutting glass and acrylic

It can also trim paper and photos making it a multi-material sizing tool with lots of uses for many different substrate types used in framing, photography and general craft use.

The Simplex Elite is a base-board mounted mat cutter with 1010mm / 40” or 1520mm / 60″ cutting capacity. It features a hinged guide rail with production stops and parallel back mount guide sliding in channels. It also has 810mm / 32” squaring arm with stop to help position the board accurately.

Cutting heads and accessories include the pull style #702 bevel window cutter and the #701 straight board cutter which hook onto the guide rail. Also has the #5000 8 ply bevel cutter, the #704 glass cutter, and the #709 acrylic scorer and the #710 paper trimmer. That’s an impressive range of tools!

Simplex Elite cutters use Logan 270D or 271SE blades and Logan #786 glass wheels. The Simplex Elite mat cutter is an ideal machine for serious artists and home framers needing a full featured mountcutter cutter that has the capability of cutting mountboard and foam board.
