Hang framed pictures and mirrors on drywall / plasterboard walls quickly and with confidence

The coarse tapered thread screws into a 4mm pilot hole or use a bradawl. Tip: use post-it notes to mark the screw positions. Screw hooks work on single or double-thick drywall /plasterboard. Can also work on normal plaster, 18mm thick or more.

The pointed thread part to the shoulder is 18mm long and the screw is 25mm long overall. The 10mm diameter shoulder bears onto the wall surface. A 2.5mm groove under the head takes wire, cord, CWH hangers, self-adhesive hanging plates and aluminium sub-frame profiles.

Use a slotted or cross headed screwdriver. No need to search the wall for studs or drilling large holes for wall anchors.

If using cord and wire, up to 2.5mm diameter, use two Picture Hook Screws, spaced apart for extra stability. Frame bumpers on the bottom corners help frames hang flat. Using Picture Hook Screws with CWH Hangers hangs a frame flush onto a wall and helps with levelling and sideways adjustment.
