Large frames should always be carried with both hands, on either side of the frame, especially those made with narrow mouldings. The FrameStrap System by Albin minimises the problems which can arise from improper handling.

The FrameStrap brackets install easily on wood and side-loader aluminium frames. The adjustable clamp allows the tension and length of the high-strength strap to be adjusted. Neat and elegant, customers will see that the prospective problem has been dealt with in a professional way. Where the frame size requires it, two or more FrameStrap packs can easily be fitted in a crossed format. 

By fitting CWH Micro Sawtooth Hangers on either side of the frame, which will hang on almost any kind of hook, the frame weight is spread evenly without the stresses imposed by a hanging cord or wire.

What is the FrameStrap System and how does it work?

The two FrameStrap T Brackets are 57mm x 51mm. 1.4mm steel, zinc plated.

Each T bracket has three large holes, 5.7mm, tapped to take grub screws which are included - they secure the T bracket positions in aluminium frames after they have been fitted during assembly. There are also three small holes, 3.2mm, to take woodscrews, included.

The two small aluminium channels are 20mm x 9mm and 45mm x 9mm. The short one fits into one T bracket and the screw holds one end of the strap firm. 

The small steel clamp plate in the kit, 25mm x 13mm, has a 5.7mm threaded hole for a grub screw. This clamp plate slides into the longer aluminium channel on the other T bracket and clamps the other end of the strap. This allows its length and tension to be adjusted. 

A FrameStrap System Kit includes approximately 1.5m / 5ft of 9mm wide white strapping, which is easily cut to length.
