mt Decorative Flexible Tapes

MT Tapes, which stands rather confusingly for masking tape, are tapes printed with a wide variety of stylised, unusual and decorative patterns and colours.

They are very flexible, making the wider ones ideal for wrapping bevels. The narrower patterns are easy to apply to the face of a mount, to offer a modern take on traditional wash and line effects. To ensure long term adhesion, burnish with the back of a spoon after application.

Working with self-adhesive materials in cold weather?

When the temperature drops remember to let self-adhesive tapes, PVA glues, boards and mounting films come up to room temperature before using them. Keep them that way for a few hours after application while the adhesives cure.
