10676 Liberon Wax and Polish Remover 250ml

Liberon Wax and Polish Remover is a non-agressive cleaner that removes dirt, grime and any old layers of wax or polish from wood moulding without damaging the original finish

Perfect for use on picture frame moulding but also great for other interior woodwork such as doors, beams, dado rails, and banisters, it will not harm the original finish or patina, making it suitable for even the most delicate surfaces. 

Use to remove old wax, dirt and grime from wood frame moulding prior to refinishing, without affecting original hard finishes.

Application

Soak a pad of Liberon Steel Wool in Liberon Wax and Polish Remover, squeeze out the excess. Working on a small area at a time, gently apply to the surface going with the grain where possible. Allow a few minutes for the remover to work and then, while the surface is still wet, use a clean lint-free cloth to wipe off all the old softened wax. Repeat this process until all the old wax is removed. Allow 24 hours for the treated surface to dry completely before applying a finish. Clean used steel wool with white spirit.

Note: This product may damage newly applied French polishes, lacquers, varnishes and sealers. Always test on a spare surface or inconspicuous area for colour, compatibility and end result.
