It is kind to wood and fragile surfaces as no heavy scraping is required, but tough on paint and varnish. The easy to use, non-drip gel methylene chloride-free formulation clings to the surface making it ideal for vertical surfaces. It has a fast working time of around five to 30 minutes.

Application

• Shake well before use.
• Apply a generous coat of Liberon Fine Wood Stripper using a paint brush.
• Allow to work and penetrate into the wood for five to thirty minutes.
• Remove dissolved finish with a scraper or Liberon Steel Wool.
• It may be necessary to repeat the process if more than one finish needs to be removed.
• Once all the finish(/s) have been removed, neutralise by cleaning with Liberon Wax and Polish Remover or white spirit.
• Leave to dry for 24 hours then rub down gently using Liberon Steel Wool or extra fine sanding paper.
• The surface is now ready for a new finish to be applied.
