Here is a quick summary of the three ranges, all made by FrameTek in USA.

RabbetSpace RS Rebate Extender - Screws on

Black acid-free acrylic profiles to mitre cut and screw to the back of wood and plastic frames to extend the depth of the rebate. This helps resolves problems when the ‘sandwich’ is thicker than the rebate depth.  

The extra thickness of multiple mounts, oil paintings on stretchers and stretched fabric items are some typical challenges which can be resolved by using RabbetSpace. 

FrameSpace FS Choose 5mm or 13mm spacing - Grips on

A mechanically permanent S profile separator that grips over the edge of the glass in a frame to space the art away from the glass. It is made from a neutral pH plastic and the air space created by FrameSpace helps minimise mould growth, paper buckling, image transfer and adhesion to the glass.

The way FrameSpace works means that there is little limitation on frame size. 

EconoSpace ES Hollow profile - Sticks on

Hollow extruded spacers extruded from acid-free acrylic. It is stuck around the edge of the glass in a picture frame. It makes an airspace between the art and the glass. 

An air space helps prevent mould growth, paper buckling, image transfer and adhesion of art to the back of the glass. EconoSpace is available in 1.5mm, 3.0mm, 6.0mm and 9.5mm and most come in Clear, Black and White. Read about the EconoChopper for volume framers.
