For use when cutting braided picture wires of all kinds. Its compact nose makes it perfect for safely cutting and trimming smaller widths of plastic cable ties / tie wraps.

The full by-pass shear action combined with high mechanical advantage makes for effortless cutting of most solid and braided wires up to approximately 3mm dia. The light-touch return spring makes for easy working.

It is also a great tool for neatly cutting throttle cables, electrical wires and similar jobs around the workshop - far superior to most normal wire cutters. Birds-mouth wire cutters are 140mm long and made in USA.
