FrameSpace® Spacer Strips are S shaped and grip onto the edge of the glass

FrameSpace FS2 profiles give a 5mm air space and are available in Clear, White and Black. All are 4.8mm wide. FS2 profiles are supplied in 1.524m / 5' lengths, 20 lengths in a pack, 31m total.

The strips are positioned by pushing onto the edge of the glass. It can help if the sharp cut edges of the glass are lightly smoothed first. A Telum diamond faced pad is ideal.

FrameSpace is extruded using acid-free polymers with no plasticisers. They help framers safely create a space between the artwork and the glass. Strips of mountboard can be slipped into the space inside the profiles, allowing colour matching. Typical applications:

•    Paper Conservation: An image on paper in contact with the glass can absorb condensation. This causes discoloration and deterioration. Spacers are essential when framing without a mount
•    Shadow Boxes: Use FrameSpace when framing an embossed or heavily textured print, or with small objects

FrameSpace is made in USA by FrameTek.

Maximum Frame Size: If you use FrameSpace, there is no limit, up to 1500mm / 60". When using EconoSpace, we suggest a max horizontal width of 600mm / 24" app. Always rest the cross piece on the verticals.
